It is important to familiarize yourself with this policy before finalizing a reservation. By confirming a booking with CentralCommonsAtrium, you consent to and accept these refund conditions.
Standard Cancellation and Refund Schedule
Exceeding 72 Hours Prior to Charter
Entitled to: Complete refund excluding processing charges
Refund Duration: 5-7 working days
Handling Charge: €50 for card payments
Terms: Must be requested officially through email or over the phone
Between 24 to 72 Hours Prior to Charter
Entitled to: Half of the overall charter price
Refund Duration: 7-10 working days
Handling Charge: €25 deducted from the refund sum
Terms: Justified reason necessary; administration costs incurred
Less Than 24 Hours Prior to Charter
Entitled to: No reimbursement options available
Exception: Consideration given to urgent and unforeseen circumstances
Alternative: Credit for a future charter might be provided based on management's decision
Terms: Official proof required for emergency situations
Weather-Related Cancellations
Our Commitment During Adverse Weather Conditions
Your safety remains our utmost priority. Should the weather pose a risk to charter operations, as determined by our qualified captain, we have various solutions:
- Complete Refund: A full reimbursement if it is not possible to reschedule
- Reschedule Option: Relocate your booking to an alternative date at no extra cost
- Voucher for Future Use: A credit certificate valid for a year from the initial charter date
Procedure for Assessing Weather Conditions
The evaluation of weather includes:
- Analyzing wind strength and course
- Checking sea conditions and swell height
- Predictions on visibility and precipitation levels
- Warnings and alerts from the Coast Guard
- A safety appraisal by a professional skipper
Evaluation Timeframe: Decisions on weather cancellations are made at least 4 hours before the planned departure time.
Medical Emergency Refunds
Critical Health Situations
We are aware that health crises can arise spontaneously. Such situations may qualify for exceptional consideration:
- Unanticipated illness or injury necessitating hospital admission
- A death within the close family
- Sudden military deployments or recalls
- Summons for jury service or a subpoena
- Natural events disrupting travel
Documents Required
For consideration of an emergency refund, you may need to provide the following documents:
- A doctor's note or hospital records
- A death certificate, if relevant
- Formal military orders
- A legal summons or proof of jury duty involvement
- Notices or declarations related to travel emergencies
Processing: Emergency refund claims are handled within 3-5 business days after we receive the necessary documentation.
Refunds Due to Operational Issues
Technical Difficulties
Should the boat designated for you encounter technical problems that remain unsolved:
- Substitute Boat: We will seek to provide an equivalent replacement
- Full Reimbursement: Offered when no acceptable alternative is found
- Proportional Refund: Applied if the substitute boat varies in pricing
- Additional Compensation: Further compensation can be considered for the inconvenience caused
Unavailability of the Crew
In the rare event that certified crew members are not available:
- Replacement crew will be organized if possible
- A full refund issued if the trip cannot take place
- Rescheduling without additional charges
Processing of Refunds
Forms of Repayment
Refunds are issued back to the original form of payment used for the booking:
- Credit Cards: 5-7 business days
- Bank Transfers: 7-10 business days
- Cash or Check: 3-5 business days
Fees for Processing
Handling for Credit Card Transactions
A €50 charge for cancellations requested more than 72 hours in advance
Bank Transfer Handling
A €25 charge for all reimbursements via bank transfer
Handling for International Transactions
Any cross-border operations may be subject to additional charges
Vouchers in Lieu of Refunds
Situations for Credit Issuance
Situationally, instead of a refund, a voucher for future services can be offered:
- For abrupt cancellations (under 24 hours' notice)
- For cancellations necessitated by weather
- For elective rescheduling requests
- Due to operational disruptions
Stipulations for Credits
- Validity Span: 12 months following the issue date
- Non-Transferable: Credits cannot be passed to other individuals
- Value Assured: Worth the entire value of the charter, free from processing fees
- Application: Applicable to any available yacht rental
- Non-Extendable: No postponements beyond the 12-month limit
Recompense for Partially Used Services
Service Disruptions
If your trip is interrupted or shortened due to reasons within our scope of control:
- A proportionate refund reflecting the time not utilized
- A voucher equivalent to the unspent charter period for future use
- Complimentary benefits or upgrades may be offered
Interruptions Attributable to Guests
If a yacht hire is concluded ahead of time due to the actions of guests or security infringements:
- No reimbursement for the time not utilized
- Full settlement of the cost is still required
- Any additional costs may be applicable
Methods to Resolve Discrepancies
In case of disagreement with a refund verdict, you are entitled to:
- Ask for a reassessment by our management
- Present extra documentation or proof
- Engage with consumer rights organizations
- Seek legal channels as stipulated by the law

Second Step: Supplementary Details
Make sure your appeal contains the following information:
- Proof of your reservation
- The scheduled time and date of the charter

- Your preferred mode of reimbursement
Final Step: Evaluation and Processing
We will acknowledge your submission within a day, assess it in accordance with this guideline, reply with our decision within two days, and, if approved, initiate the refund within the timeframes specified.
Critical Information
- All applications for refund must be submitted in a written format
- Refund transactions are processed in €, irrespective of the original currency used for payment
- We strongly recommend opting for travel insurance
- This guideline may be updated with a month's notice
- All refunds are subject to relevant taxes and regulations
